Bring on the Summer

It finally feels as though summer is here. The cool spring weather has broken and the sun is shining. Reina and Mexica will complete the school year next week. ¡Hijole! I can't believe we've been living in Michigan for nearly a full year. I still miss Burque, but East Aztlánsing has been offering quite a bit of opportunities for me + Estrella. We will be heading to Nuevo México for a month in a coulpe weeks. Afterwards, I'll be doing a residency + teaching in Oaxaca for two weeks. Should be exciting.

Last week I was in Toronto presenting a paper entitled 'Sneakers for Social Justice or Just for Us?' Right outside the Faculty of Physical Education, I came across this dope ass stencil. Somebody else in thinking similar things. In case you can't tell, that's the Jumpman logo with a can of spraypaint. ¡Que chido, no!
